A respected member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Lawyer Edudzi Tamakloe has said that Electoral Commissioner Mrs. Jean Mensa should stop trivializing the happenings in the 2020 elections. Jean Mensa while addressing ECOWAS Parliament described the 2020 election as free and fair and the best in Ghana’s history. But Lawyer Edudzi Tamakloe believes otherwise and contains said that claims of the 2020 elections being the best and transparent in the history of the country is disrespectful. Edudzi Tamakloe who was simply speaking on Accra-based OK FM monitored by MyNewsGh. com, said the Commissioner of the Electoral human body set up a system to rig the election in favour of the present President who made her the commissioner. “Jean Mensa setup a system to rig the election for Mr Akufo-Addo, it was a systematic thing. There are things we all know but we have decided to put them behind. They made the pink sheets in a manner that it will not show the number of persons verified and the reason for this really is to allow for ballot stuffing. ”Against this backdrop, Edudzi Tamakloe indicated that her Lawyers had to do every thing within their means to ensure she was not questioned in court because that would’ve exposed the President and questioned his legitimacy. The NDC’s 2020 flagbearer John Dramani Mahama after the election went along to the supreme court to quash the declaration created by Jean Mensah.
