Professional Kwabena Agyepong has opened about issues that led to their suspension as a member of the regulating New Patriotic Party(NPP). Kwabena Agyepong, Paul Afoko plus Sammy Crabbe who were Nationwide Executives of the NPP had been suspended indefinitely ahead of the 2016 general elections. The reasons provided for the disciplinary action is that they were working against the then-candidate of the party Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo. Several petitions were written to the party’s hierarchy for their removal more than anti-party activities. I didn’t start any confusion at all from our party. I think there have been people who felt that I has been trying to remove the carpet through under their feet. I used to be disappointed that people couldn’t operate and … In fact people who petitioned against me, exactly where are they? They were never generally there, ” he said.
