Ghanaian RnB singer and songwriter, Ded Buddy who is today known as Qweci has uncovered a new music genre which will take Ghana music towards the international level. According to the experienced musician who is famously kept in mind for his hit tunes ‘Yebesa’ and ‘Abofra Wisua’, his new music genre includes a global appeal to take Ghana to the Grammys. “In the time I used to do RnB and still I do RnB great my focus is upon global appeal and I need everyone to know that Ghana we now have the talent to contend at the international level, ” he said. He additional, “So right now the style that I do is called Digital Dance Music (EDM) therefore recently I released a new one and when you hear it you would think that it was done with a foreign artiste. “If you would remember I’m someone recognized for setting trends during those times and I’m the one who began RnB in Ghana, ” he told Amansan Krakye on Kastle FM within Cape Coast. “So at the moment I’ve moved a step additional and I’ve started performing EDM which I believe will be something which will carry on later on times to come, ” he or she ended on the Kastle Enjoyment Show.
