Do not disregard the opinions of regular Ghanaians on e-levy – Akufo-Addo warned

Well-known veteran musician, Qweci who may be formerly known as Ded Friend has tasked President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to examine his stance on the questionable ‘E-Levy’ initiative. “My truthful opinion about the E- Garnishment is that I think when our own leaders want to introduce a good initiative they should let their particular boys go to the streets and inquire the ordinary people about what these people think about it, ” he fumed. The Electronic-Levy which has be a bone of contention between your minority and majority People of Parliament(MPs) has been broadly condemned by most Ghanaians. Speaking on the Kastle Enjoyment Show with Amansan Krakye, Qweci said the government should never disregard the opinion of the everyone else on the streets. He said, “Before you bring a good initiative on board you need to understand whether it will be helpful to the folks or not and with the e-levy they have to listen to what people are saying within the streets because things are not going well. He added, “We plead with them that they should not just seek the sights of some few people plus introduce anything at all but they need to talk to those at the grassroots. “The little that somebody will feed on will be utilized in paying such levies plus it’s not helpful to the ordinary and people suffering in silence, ” this individual said on Cape Coast’s Kastle FM.
