With all the continuous rejection of the suggested E-levy by the Minority within Parliament, the governing Brand new Patriotic Party(NPP) chairman intended for Cape Coast North constituency, Mr. Stephen Kojo Arhin has called on the govt to cancel the former mate gratia of the minority, when they refuse to accept the passing of the bill
Mr. Kojo Arhin popularly known within politics as Wewebi indicated disappointment about the opposition Nationwide Democratic Congress(NDC) Members within Parliament’s (MPs’) selfish curiosity without thinking of the development of this particular country and economy too
Speaking to the media in his residence, Mr. Kojo Arhin charged the Group in Parliament to desist from politicizing the suggested E-levy but rather join most in parliament to pass the particular bill soon as possible.
This individual therefore charged Ghanaians to keep the Minority in parliament responsible, if the country’s economic climate becomes unstable.
“The taxes payers money is used to pay for and buy cars for the same MPs who have been rejecting the E-levy” Mr. Kojo Arhin lamented.
Mr. Kojo Arhin announced that the proposed Electronic Deal Levy (E-Levy) will not visit President Nana Addo great Vice President, Dr . Mohammadu Bawumia’s pockets but it is going to be used to implement massive developing projects without relying on financial loans
Mr. Kojo Arhin billed the “stubborn” Minority within Parliament to as issue of urgency accepts the particular E-levy to boost Ghana’s economic climate.
