Common Overseer and Presiding Bishop of House of Belief Ministries (World Missions Church) Dr . Michael Boadi Nyamekye has called on the Chapel to add value to the lifestyles of their members. He thinks that the Church is currently executing its primary duty of creating the word known to the people plus ensuring that they have salvation. Yet he believes that the responsibility of the Church should not be restricted to its primary responsibility yet move on to ensure that members from the Church are provided with the greatest welfare they can get. This individual was speaking on Accra-based Asempa FM when he or she made this known. “I believe the Church is definitely fulfilling its Primary responsibility which is the propagation from the gospel. There are things that the particular Church is doing as supplementary responsibility and that’s not really its primary role. I actually won’t say the Cathedral is not progressing, what I will certainly say is that the Church must evolve with the times. It will help them come to the recognition that the Church can do stuff that will help add value towards the members of the church. There exists a Pastor who has created work for his people which has got him to get devotion of his people. ”He continued “So can we all evolve? Can we take a look at doing things that will forster the growth and development of our individuals so that the people will get some thing to do, they will progress. I had been speaking to one of my kids and I told him that individuals are trying to develop a model to coach people with skillset that is employable and in high demand. That is the way the church was in the early times. In Germany for example the Catholic Church had training facilities where members were been trained in TVET. So people who had been in the Church and had been unemployed you start by obtaining them training. ”He pointed out that if the members from the Church are progressing, it will eventually automatically affect the Church and so there is the need for the Cathedral to make a conscious effort on ensuring that its members are usually progressive with their lives. “We need to look beyond the ease and comfort of making the word in the holy bible known. The bible gets our guide, the scriptures becomes our template. Following the individual is born again, he needs to pay school costs, he/she has to pay lease, that individual needs to feed what exactly can we do to build up them, to develop their capability mentally, to develop their capability, their skillset to be able to obtain meaningful employment to take care of them selves and their family. You should be forward looking.
