Kofi Okyere Darko known commonly as KOD has chided Ghanaian Disc Jockeys designed for promoting foreign songs on the expense of music produced in Ghana by Ghanaians.
This individual can’t fathom why primary has been shifted from advertising made in Ghana music in order to promoting especially South Africa and Nigerian music.
KOD contends that on a level of 100, Ghanaian Djs are playing only 10% Ghanaian music which is undesirable.
“GH DJs you need to focus on your playlists guys…We’re out there and there’s 10% GH music on your playlists keep away from when the whole world is here now? Really? ”
He continuing “Are you happy to advertise what’s not yours? We have to be intentional to task ours”.
There has been several issues with the lack of support for songs in Ghana.
Some Ghanaians abroad who have come to commemorate Christmas cannot fathom the reason why Djs have restricted them selves to music out of the nation.
