There is chaos at the Jesus Energy Assembly at the Hilltop-Ohwimase Department of Assemblies of Lord, Ghana after the Ashanti Western Regional Superintendent of the Cathedral, Rev. Stephen Yaw Manu delivered a sermon plus later moved to effect a choice he had taken on specific leaders of the congregation the other day. Angry church members damaged the service and chased out the Regional Superintendent with hooting after he previously attempted to make away using a cash amount of close to GHC 30, 000 which was noticed from the church’s annual pick this year. The action from the church members, according to many of them was the anticlimax of a number of arbitrary decisions imposed around the congregation by Rev. Stephen Yaw Manu who is curved on running the cathedral like his personal house. Stephen Yaw Manu had on 9th Dec 2021 written to the Hilltop-Ohwimase Congregation, informing them associated with his decision to write off some “brethren” from the cathedral. “The following brethren at the church board of Christ Power Assembly of Devices of God, Ghana in Hilltop, Ohwimase have been terminated from Assemblies of Lord, Ghana with immediate impact. They are; Charles Addai, Godfred Kwarkye, Bismark Agyemang Siaw and Peter Owusu. Other medication is; Baffour Akoto, Collins Ofosu Kwarteng and Andrews Sarpong”, the letter mentioned. The particular letter explained further that will, “this has become necessary because of their gross insubordination and indiscipline towards the leadership of Kwadaso District and the Ashanti Western Region in spite of several tries to reason with them. Also, they are ineligible to worship along with any local assembly of the chapel until further notice. ”After delivering his sermon last night, the regional superintendent reaffirmed the contents of the notice and moved to appoint brand new leaders for the congregation; he previously also brought a new individual to head the members since the pastor of the chapel is among those who fell towards the ax in the letter associated with 9th December. The distraught members who could not belly the behavior of the Rev. Stephen Yaw Manu started yelling and tossing the seats in the church auditorium about, before the regional superintendent, realizing danger for his existence left the pulpit.
