Kwame A Plus born Kwame Asare Obeng has told the particular King of the Ashanti Empire Otumfuo Osei Tutu II that he erred in his statements that the people of Ghana need to pay taxes to help the federal government machinery run.
The adored King is on report to have said that “I have no idea of any form of fees that is less painful compared to others. So at last, federal government, by all means, would have to raise fees to meet our needs and when we are good citizens, we are going to pay our taxes”.
Their comment comes at a time once the citizens of Ghana are usually complaining bitterly about the choice by the government to bring in more taxes in order to generate profits to run the country.
Reacting in order to his position, Kwame An advantage indicated that over the years, the federal government has misused monies they have generated from the citizens therefore the stiff opposition towards the introduction of more fees which will certainly be abused.
He said “So which the government will use it in order to rent expensive jets? Make use of some to import the stone from Israel exactly where they don’t believe in Christ to build a cathedral? Recently our tax was utilized to build houses for judges”.
Adding that “Akufo Addo spent over 20 mil to demolish all the structures to pave way for your pet to build a house for their sky daddy. Why should we all pay taxes to a federal government that wants to use it to get a jet so that the president may bath in the sky? ”
This individual asked Otumfuo to have a re-think of his position within the introduction of taxes since the Ghanaian people are not prepared to give their taxes in order to wasteful Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
