Previous IGP discontinued defamation situation because he lost trust in Judiciary – Manasseh reveals

Investigative Journalist Manasseh Azure provides disclosed that the former Inspector General of Police (IGP) Asante Appeatu discontinued their case because he does not have perception in Ghana’s judiciary. Our sources close to him state Mr. Apeatu’s decision is because of some pronouncements made by the particular judge in open courtroom the last time the case has been called. According to my resources, the former IGP believes he’s a strong case, but they have lost faith in the judiciary and does not want to waste their time on the matter.
