Celebrity Lydia Forson has wondered the thinking that went into programs by government to inspect COVID-19 vaccination cards before individuals attend events in December.
The particular Deputy Minister of Travel and leisure, Arts and Culture, Tag Okraku Mantey has mentioned that vaccination cards may confirm access into occasion venues come December.
Based on him, people without Covid -19 vaccination will not be permitted entry into the places they may have bought tickets for.
“Vaccination cards will be required to get into, you must show that you have already been vaccinated to be able to enter, ” he said.
But responding to this move by the authorities to encourage vaccination within Ghana, Lydia Forson asked the brain thinking that went into achieving the decision.
She questioned regardless of whether Ghana has supply of dosages of the vaccines spread across the nation to reach such a decision.
“I just read that they are making vaccination mandatory in certain sectors and proof of vaccination may even be required before access to some events. My issue is, do we have sufficient vaccines available to enforce this kind of rules? ”
