Ressortchef (umgangssprachlich) of Agriculture Dr Owusu Afriyie Akoto has bragged about leading the New Devoted Party (NPP) fleagbearer graph within the five regions of the particular north based on his reputation validated by his own analysis.
Dr Owusu Afriyie Akoto who is embarking on secret advertising to succeed President Nana Addo Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo since leader of the NPP in front of the 2020 polls, told possible delegates that he stands high per the research conducted up to now.
This is the first time the former Kwadaso lawmaker is openly proclaiming his bid to guide the party despite analysis by the leadership of the celebration barring aspirants from advertising.

Do not campaign – NPP alerts flagbearer hopefuls
The NPP had earlier in a communique barred all flagbearer aspirants from campaigning indicating that this constitutes a violation of the party’s constitution.
As a result, General Admin Mr. John Boadu entreated 2024 Presidential Candidate hopefuls of the party to stop privately campaigning.
He called at the Presidential candidate hopefuls to see the rules and regulations guiding internal polls of the party.
“We find posters around and that is suitable but no one should start advertising. If you start campaigning, you will distract the president in the mandate given to him. He can be distracted by these types of campaigns by our own individuals, so I urge you almost all to observe these rules and regulations, ” Mr Boadu said.
