63-years-old Rita Offen who is now writing her Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) has advised young ladies and women who did not get the possibility to be educated to use up the challenge and get themselves educated. According to him, it’s maybe not too late to use up the challenge to be counted as part of people with education so women of her age should enroll in schools of these choice and ensure that they get educated. Rita Offen who was discovered when the District Chief Executive (DCE) for the Obuasi East Faustina Ammissah toured the various centres where in fact the examination was taking place said she decided to enrol in school and get educated to ensure that she can use the knowledge acquired to manage her shop well. Apart from that, she enrolled for education so she will manage to read the bible in Twi and English and be able to express herself fluently in the Queen’s Language. “All I wish to say is that I’m encouraging women who are like me to take advantage and acquire themselves schooled. Your age doesn’t matter when it comes to education so make good use of the ability. I would also want to thank my husband for giving me the opportunity to go back to school and encouraging me. You’ll always need a supportive husband to help you achieve such dreams and my husband did exactly that. Men should see what has happened so that they study on it. If your wife really wants to go to school, encourage her and support her through the entire process, ” she told the media.
