Precious metal: 3 dead as equipped robbers engage miners within gun battle

3 persons have been confirmed deceased after gun-wielding robbers involved miners in a gun fight between Denkyira Nkroful plus Dunkwa Upper Denkyira Eastern Municipality of the Central Area. One of the survivors of the event, Kwabena Badu told the authorities that he was driving the Lincoln Navigator with sign up number GR 6113 – 12 and onboard had been eight persons miners who had been travelling with him through Denkyira Adaboi to Dunkwa on OffinBut on getting to a section of the road between Denkyira Nkroful and Treposu junction three armed men surfaced from the bush wielding AK 47 rifles and pump-action guns fired on miners and they also opened fire around the armed robbers. Two from the miners died on the spot plus two others sustained numerous degrees of gunshot injuries. among the armed robbers yet to become identified also died. there was stains of blood within the car and gunshots at the car and on the picture of the crime.
