Previous National Chairman of the People’s National Convention (PNC) Bernard Mornah has condemned a job interview President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo granted on Accra-based Peace Fm. Ahead of the begin of his Greater Accra Regional tour, the Chief executive appeared at the studio associated with Peace Fm’s morning display ‘Kokorokoo’ for an interview that was conducted by host Kwame Sefa Kayi. In the declaration of Mr Mornah, it had been fundamentally wrong for the leader to agree to be evaluated on a private radio place when he could have used their state broadcaster. He further mentioned that it was out of place for the job interview to be conducted by Kwame Sefa Kayi who was lately appointed by the president towards the board of the Ghana Nationwide Petroleum Commission. “President Akufo-Addo has given Kwame Sefa Kayi a job to do so you ask Kwame Sefa Kayi to come and interview a person. So the food was prepared from home and was delivered to eat. Kwame Sefa Kayi has been appointed a plank member of the Petroleum Commission payment [sic]. So when you have given him a job to undertake, do you expect the person you might have given the job to do ahead and ask you probing queries? It won’t happen, therefore no wonder big brother was having a laugh when the president had ‘tomb eyed’. Bernard Mornah intimated that President Akufo-Addo comes with an aversion for the state broadcaster GBC, a reason he chooses to be interviewed by Serenity FM. He recounted how the president in 2013 ashamed GBC by yanking aside their microphone at a push briefing that followed the particular supreme court’s verdict from the 2012 election petition.
