Adongo mourns with Bawumia when he presents a bull in the direction of mother’s funeral rites

Hajia Mariama Bawumia, mom of Vice President Doctor Mahamudu Bawumia died upon September 13, 2021, within Accra at age 81. In a short engagement with the Vice President, the National Democratic Congress Member of Parliament who might be widely noted for their heavy criticism of Doctor Bawumia on matters associated with governance and the economy stated he considers the Vice President as a senior sibling and an inspiration within politics notwithstanding the divergent views and positions these people share on matters from the economy. Mr Adongo observed that the decision of Doctor Bawumia to visit him throughout the burial of his mom in 2019 left in the mind a great sense associated with brotherhood that is worth writing. “When I lost the mother, you came and you consoled me. I was deeply handled by your sense of treatment and even though we have our politics differences, it does not take away the proven fact that you’re a senior sibling. On the loss of your mother, I’m here together with several of our Regional and Constituency executives to commensurate together with you and to encourage you to become strong, ” he mentioned. Dr Mahamudu Bawumia in answer reiterated the need for the farming of brotherliness amongst politics actors. The Vice Chief executive intimated that the loss of their mother which comes after losing the mother of the Bolgatanga Main MP has put each of them in a category of kids who have lost their moms. “We should continue to display each other care notwithstanding exactly what politics has brought in between all of us, ” Dr Bawumia mentioned.
