Innovator of the Volta separatist team, Homeland Study Group Basis (HSGF) Charles Komi Kudzodzi, popularly known as Papavi Hogbedetor, is reportedly dead.
Based on a report by Starr Information, Mr. Kudzordzi who was given birth to on April 7, 1934, was said to have given to in the late hours associated with Friday, 15th October 2021 at a hospital in the Volta region.
He was 87.
Until his death, Papavi Hogbedetor was seeking to possess the Volta region and some other areas of the country – Traditional western Togoland declared independent through Ghana.
He was upon several occasions arrested plus stood trial, having been billed with treason for their acts.
In November 2019 Papavi Hogbedetor infamously announced the Volta region being an independent Western Togoland condition at a public function kept in Ho.
He afterwards went into hiding for almost 2 yrs and was again imprisoned on Wednesday, 28th Come july 1st 2021 at his personal residence in Ho.
This individual was, however , granted the GHC16k bail by a Ho High Court on wellness grounds.
Despite his insistence that the Homeland Study Team Foundation was a non-violent separatist movement, an attack on the Aveyime police station, the installation of roadblocks and an additional arson attack on the STC station in Ho within 2020 were all related to him and his group.
