Unique Prosecutor Kissi Agyabeng offers discontinued a case of claimed tax evasion against the Person in Parliament (MP) for Bawku Central. According to Mr Agyabeng, the decision to discontinue the situation is premised on the undeniable fact that evidence gathered by their predecessor in respect of the matter will not meet the threshold required for criminal prosecution. Mr Ayariga had been drawn to court by the very first Special Prosecutor Martin Amidu for allegedly evading fees in the purchase of a few luxury vehicles. Mr Ayariga had always denied the particular allegations and accused the particular Special Prosecutor of focusing on him.
