I will collaborate with young musicians rather than sign them — Sarkodie reveals why

Ghanaian rapper Michael Owusu Addo, famed as Sarkordie, made his intentions clear regarding working young artistes below his record label, SarkCess Music.

According to Sarkodie, he or she doesn’t have plans of tidying new talents under their sole supervision anytime soon, specifically after attempting it along with rapper Strongman and vocalist Akwaboah but ended up separating ways with them after a few years.

Rather, the ‘No Fugazy’ artist noted that he would rather make use of his experience and impact to help up-and-coming artists to understand their potentials and flourish in the entertainment industry.

Sarkodie disclosed this during a current interaction on Twitter Area with his fans who involved him in a rare Q& A session made possible by Tweets influencer, KalyJay.

While divulging his plan for the next era of artists in the country, he or she intimated that the current condition of the entertainment industry within Africa makes it difficult to be successful as an artiste nurturing additional talents.

For Sarkodie, it will probably be better not to attempt signing anybody for now but would rather provide them with the exposure they look for by collaborating with them upon projects.
