Plan Analyst and Communication Strategist, Dr Steve Manteaw provides suggested that people angry in regards to the dismissal of journalist Godsbrain Blessed Captain Smart need to boycott the products of the Angel group of companies, Mr Smart’s employer.
Captain Smart has been taken off air after he or she launched criticisms of several high-ranking Government officials. Their fate was instigated, apparently, by powerful people within Government who had place pressure on his employers to consider him off air.
Their suspension from Angel FM has been widely criticised, numerous calling it a outward exhibition of the culture of quiet being trumpeted by Ghanaians in recent times.
For Dr Manteaw, a respected anti-corruption campaigner and good governance supporter, products from the mother organization of Angel FM ought to be boycotted so as to “install sanity”.
” The best way to register our own disdain about the removal of Capt. Smart from the airwaves would be to boycott Angel products. We now have the power to install sanity, ” he suggested.
