How peer pressure pushed me into a chain smoker – Cletus Avoka

Person in Parliament(MP) for Zebilla Cletus Avoka has said that expert pressure pushed him directly into becoming a chain smoker. Based on him, the association this individual made immediately after completing their degree at the University associated with Ghana turned him in to a smoker who could not perform a day without cigarette. He or she said in an inteview upon Bolgatana-based A1 radio supervised by MyNewsGh. com that will during the time, he could smoke three or more packs of cigarettes in a day. Cletus Avoka who was part of David Dramani Mahama’s three smart men said he stop smoking after one of his buddies was diagnosed with Tuberculosis plus was cautioned against smoking cigarettes. “… you go to any well-known doctor, he will tell you…don’t do this but do in small amounts, do it the little that you can yet don’t go in excesses and i believe that has been my guiding theory. When i was a very child, i could smoke three bouts of cigarettes a day. ”“So it had been after i left university…peer group…there i took the habit associated with smoking but that did not last long, ” he stated on Bolgatanga-based A1 Radio stations. “As far back since 1985, i encountered a buddy who was not well so when we sent him towards the hospital, the doctor said it had been TB because of smoking…that was your day i put our cigarettes lighter and cig in the dustbin. …So that will day, i just put our lighter away, my cig away and i said simply no to smoking. ”Cletus Avoka said he quit smoking a few 36 years ago and has made a decision never to go back to his aged ways.
