“Makoma” hitmaker, Adina born Adina Thembi Ndamse has showed Amansan Krakye in an exceptional interview on Kastle FM in Cape Coast supervised by MyNewsGh. com the ‘Araba album was focused on her rich Fante social heritage and tradition.
The lady answered “Araba is our name given to me simply by my mum but in addition to the fact that it’s my title, I decided to dedicate our album to my Fante history.
“It’s like an oath to a Fante side and just like We said my mum in support of my siblings call me personally Araba, ” she exposed.
Adina who is a fifty percent Ghanaian and half Southern African hails from Ajumako Kromaim in the Ajumako-Enyan-Esiam District within the Central Region disclosed over the Kastle Drive show that will only those very near to her known that the girl Fante name is Araba.
She told Amansan Krakye “So if you know me or even you’re very close to me personally that’s when you’d realize that Araba is actually my title.
“And so I felt it turned out very significant to the individual nature of the album. This took be approximately six months to put the whole album collectively, ” Adina ended.
Adina’s Araba album which includes 10 songs including strike song “Why” has been selected for the Vodafone Ghana Songs Awards (VGMA22) Album from the Year category.
