PDS huge debts responsible for present Dumsor – ASEPA claims

Connections for Social Equity plus Public Accountability (ASEPA) will be blaming the infamous Energy Distribution Service (PDS) since the cause of the country’s present “dumsor” crisis. “Most financial obligations at the Electricity Company associated with Ghana was incurred simply by PDS”, Executive Director associated with ASEPA Mr. Mensah Thompson said. Speaking on Kumasi’s traditional radio Opemsuo FM monitored by MyNewsGH. possuindo, Mr. Mensah Thompson roughly accused the infamous PDS Company which operated designed for only five months in the united states as the cause of the power out there crises the country is dealing with. “Most debt at the Electrical power Company of Ghana has been incurred by PDS. For that five months period PDS collected bills from customers in the country, they never made up what they took. All the cash they collected, till day we don’t know exactly where money went”, he stated. According to him, PDS right after taking over Electricity Company associated with Ghana (ECG) did not pay out the company’s debt this owed neither did these people pay their power electrical generator like GRICO, and VRA. “When PDS took over ECG, and collected the expenses from the consumers, they miss to pay their power generators”, Mr. Mensah Thompson mentioned in his interview. He hinted that, PDS also remaining a huge sum of debt that is preventing ECG from paying its debt for strength generation hence the current downturn the country is going through. Mister.
