Law enforcement personnel on Sunday foiled an attempted jailbreak from Zuarungu in the Bolgatanga Eastern District of the Upper Eastern Region, MyNewsGh. com offers confirmed. This comes after comparable incidents in Ashaiman within the Greater Accra Region plus Sandema in the Builsa Northern District of the Upper Eastern Region that saw over 10 convicts escaping through lawful custody. In the newest incident, one Sergeant Philip Tawiah who was on duty at that time, reported that the inmates within the cells started complaining associated with heat in the main cells and after that started hitting the metal doorway with their hands.
