Female, 13, who got expectant during lockdown gives delivery during maths exams

A 13-year-old Primary Seven candidate within the Mpigi District has provided birth to a baby boy throughout a Mathematics examination.
According to a written report by the monitor, The event happened at St Balikuddembe Primary School, Jalamba Keep in Buwama Town Authorities, Mpigi District.
Godfrey Ssemanda who is the headmaster from the school in interview exposed that the girl developed labour aches and pains during a Mathematics examination.
“After 20 minutes, she notified the invigilator who known as colleagues and rushed the woman to a nearby medical center, ” Mr Ssemanda pointed out.
A nurse of the school’s clinic added that right after helping the girl to deliver, the girl was taken back to the college to complete her paper within an isolated environment.
According to the headmaster Mr Ssemanda, the invigilator gave the girl extra forty-five minutes to write the paper.
“She also wrote the papers and this morning [Wednesday], she’s here to write one more paper, ” Mr Ssemanda said on Wednesday early morning.
The parents of the student revealed the child got pregnant 9 months ago during the Covid-19 Lockdown.
“She was attracted into conjugal acts in this Covid-19 lockdown by a particular boy because they were not likely to school, ” one of the mom and dad said.
