The former Person in Parliament of Kumbungu Constituency Ras Mubarak has indicated his exasperation over the information of Achimota School apparently denying admission to 2 ‘Rastafarian’ students.
The politician averred that the move with the school is an infringement over the rights of the students based on the 1992 Constitution.
According to Ras Mubarak, the school have embarrassed the students and the therapy meted out to them is certainly degrading just because of their dreadlocks.
In a long Facebook article, the former MP wrote; “The provisions of our constitution are usually clear, No child will be deprived by any other individual of medical treatment, EDUCATION or any type of other social or financial benefit by reason just of religious or various other beliefs”.

This comes after the disappointed father shared upon Facebook that his child and one other student are allegedly denied admission straight into Achimota School because of their dreadlocks.
The father identified as Ras Aswad Nkrabeah revealed that the specialists of Achimota School stated it is against the rules from the school to admit learners with dreadlocks.
