The previous Member of Parliament of Kumbungu Constituency Ras Mubarak offers expressed his exasperation on the news of Achimota College allegedly denying admission in order to two ‘Rastafarian’ students.
The particular politician averred that the shift by the school is an violation on the rights of the college students according to the 1992 Constitution.
Based on Ras Mubarak, the school possess humiliated the students as well as the treatment meted out to all of them is degrading just because of the dreadlocks.
In a long Fb post, the former MP had written; “The provisions of our cosmetic are clear, No kid shall be deprived by every other person of medical treatment, SCHOOLING or any other social or even economic benefit by cause only of religious or even other beliefs”.

This uses a disappointed father contributed on Facebook that their son and one other college student have been allegedly denied entrance into Achimota School for their dreadlocks.
The father identified as Ras Aswad Nkrabeah revealed the fact that authorities of Achimota College claimed it is against the guidelines of the school to confess students with dreadlocks.
