Nana Ama Mcbrown has advised Yaa Yaa to work even more difficult to get recognised after the girl ranted about how the industry sleeps on her talent.
In an job interview with Naa Ashorkor upon Asaase FM, Mcbrown described that what Yaa Yaa needed to get the big split she deserves is to maintain working hard.
The host from the United Showbiz show comprehensive that the advent of social media is promoting the narrative and artistes today need more than just their particular talent to be recognised.
”During my time, there was nothing can beat social media. There were no systems like that. So our skill came to play. People have got to recognise us through our own talent. In Yaa Yaa’s era, it will be hard to be successful on just your skill, ” Nana Ama stated.
Mcbrown added that even though it would take a lot of time for you to erupt with just your talent and no controversy, it will help to build a solid brand.
Nevertheless , the legendary actress portrayed that Yaa Yaa need to find a middle ground among keeping a ”clean” character and doing what it takes to achieve show business.
In Nana Ama’s opinion, Yaa Yaa should be open to compromise on her behalf traditional values to do what must be done to excel as a music performer.
