Well-known Cape Coast-based award-winning artiste, Orkortor Perry has apologized unreservedly to the general public in regards to a trending video in which this individual was seen whipping a new boy.
There were mixed responses to a controversial trending movie of a group of men to whip a young boy in Shawl Coast for allegedly flouting some by-laws.
Whilst numerous agree with the drastic procedures being taken by the volunteers to curtail indiscipline, other people also disagree with the harassing nature of the incident.
Speaking with Amansan Krakye on Kastle FM’s Drive Time Display in Cape Coast, Orkortor Perry said he did not intentionally go out with the purpose of whipping recalcitrant kids for applause.
“I completely condemn the person who recorded the particular act because I did not intend to go out there to whip people by force to become recorded for people to see exactly what I’m doing, ” he or she said.
He apologized “I’m not happy and I’m not really jubilating over the viral video clip of me whipping a specific young boy. I completely condemn the act and am don’t even know that filmed that into the legal because I wasn’t conscious.
He added “However, whenever we allow people to do whichever they want, within the next 2-3 yrs Cape Coast will be ruined totally. If the leaders within Cape Coast don’t increase and take drastic procedures, then we will soon become counting our losses.
