Politics Scientist and Associate Teacher at the University of Ghana Ransford Gyampo has mentioned that they would be no commercial harmony unity the distance between conditions of provider for Article 71 cases and those of public maids is bridged to some extent. Prof Gyampo has regularly belittled the poor conditions of services and remuneration of community servants wondered why common public servants are getting the 7% increase in their wages while article 71 official holders are getting 70%. “Until we strive to achieve several level of equity in the problems of service of Community Servants and Article 71 Office Holders, there would be simply no industrial harmony. U can not give the owner of the cash 7% and give the caretaker over 70%. We are not really FOOLS, ” Prof Gyampo lashed out. His remark comes at a time some work unions such as the Teachers plus Educational Workers Union(TEWU), Ghana Association of Certified Authorized Anaesthetists, have declared hit actions over conditions associated with service and related issues. The University of Ghana Branch of the University Educators Association of Ghana (UTAG), of which Prof Gyampo is definitely Secretary, is also on hit over Government’s failure to satisfy their demands.
