Law enforcement in the Volta Region possess arrested some five individuals believed to be members of Papavi’s Western Togoland secessionist team. According to the Police, the 5 were arrested upon the tip-off that they were hotels in a house close to the Denu beach owned by a previous assemblyman Francis Bedzo. Law enforcement stormed the said home and arrested Torgbui Bokor Dotse Aba age forty five (spiritualist) from Tsiame, Isaac Norvinye Agbesi age twenty-eight from Bator Zomayi, Avanyee Korku Godwin age thirty-one from Woe, Delali Sampson Ayirebi age 35 through Hohoe and Awumey Weekend age 37 from Keta. The sixth suspect, Raphael Zokpo aged 20 through Tsiame managed to escape throughout the arrest. Police retrieved 4 locally made short weapons with 200 BB ink cartridges in eight packs. Law enforcement also found on the phone associated with suspect Isaac Norvinye Agbesi pictures of him among others undergoing military training along with weapons at an undisclosed region as well as an audio documenting which he was noticed announcing to his co-workers to attack Police along with other security agencies for weaponry during the insurgents.
