Person in Parliament for the Ellembele Constituency Emmanuel Armah Kofi Buah has called for justice for your illegal miner who was arranged ablaze by security staff of Adamus Resources Restricted, a mining company in Nkroful in the Western Area. Derry Budu of Anwia met his untimely loss of life when he was taken on Wednesday December twenty two, 2021, on Adamus’ exploration concession at Anwia-Bokazo with the company’s security personnel. Employees at the manning concession molested him and afterwards put fuel on his body make his body on fire. Derry sustained life threatening accidental injuries as a result and was hurried to the Korle Bu Training Hospital after his move from the St . Martin sobre Porres Hospital at Eikwe. Reacting to the death associated with Derry Budu, the Person in Parliament for Ellembele inside a post shared on Fb said “The sad moving of young Derry Budu of Anwia who was apparently assaulted by security staff of Adamus resources plus reportedly set ablaze should be condemned by all law-abiding Ghanaians”. He called at the Ghana Police Service to check into and bring the culprits in order to book for such an offence. “I call on the police in order to thoroughly investigate this unhappy event and ensure that proper rights is delivered with the assistance of the district security panel and government. Nobody should be too powerful or properly connected in this investigation which includes Adamus mines Limited. ”He used the opportunity to call on people of the community to workout restraint as Justice is going to be served. “It is period for Adamus resources in order to re-examine its relationship using its operating area communities and alter its occupation mentality method of a much-respected approach in the dealings with the communities within the Ellembele district.
