The Alumnus of Prempeh College and son associated with Son of the Director-General associated with Police Intelligence and Expert Standards Bureau, Maame Tiwaa Addo-Danquah became the poster boy of 54th graduating ceremony of the university capturing 15 of 21 honours to set a new record on the School of Medicine. Doctor Akosah: I entered UCCSMS in August 2015 when justin was 18, young, naive minus a clue of exactly what life had to offer. These types of past 6 years have significantly shaped my life and the way of thinking and three individuals have played significant roles within this journey. MyNewsGh. com: Do you expect these awards? Doctor Akosah: I actually didn’t be prepared to get 15 awards. We knew I would get a couple of but did not expect to obtain that manyMyNewsGh. com: The thing that was the feeling like after getting announced to receive these honours? Dr . Akosah: The feeling had been overwhelming. I started trembling a bit when the Pro VC was mentioning my title but the best moment had been when I saw the smile upon my mother’s face. MyNewsGh. com: What has been the response of your mother after the honours? Dr . Akosah: She has already been ecstatic. I think she has got more congratulatory messages compared to me. I believe she warrants it because she has sacrificed a lot for meMyNewsGh. possuindo: What’s the way forward or even what do you anticipate within the futureDr. Akosah: I want to ultimately end up in academia as a Teacher of Surgery. I am thinking of specializing in transplant surgery, the subspecialty of general surgical procedure and establishing a hair transplant center to serve the nation and continental subregionMyNewsGh. possuindo: What advice do you have for that younger ones who want to end up like you? Dr . Akosah: For your younger medical students, period preclinical years seriously. Should you have a comprehensive understanding of your simple sciences, your clinical many years become a walk in the recreation area. MyNewsGh. com: Do you have whatever you want to say? Dr . Akosah: First is my mom, Commissioner of Police Maame Yaa Tiwaa Addo-Danquah. Such a phenomenal woman! My mom is the most kind-hearted person You will find ever met. These previous fewyears have been amazing along with a mother-son relationship has increased dramatically into a beautiful friendship. Lastly, my Senior in Early morning Star, Prempeh College plus UCCSMS, Dr . Kojo Okyere Adu and one of the few-people who still call me personally “Edward”. I would say Kojo brought out my social existence in medical school. He or she told me: “Edward, you are more an academic; you have a lot more to offer to yourself, the college and even the country” He or she introduced me to pupil politics when we ran for your office of President plus Vice President of the Healthcare Students Association. I ultimately succeeded him as the Leader of the Association. I depart UCCSMS in December 2021 because Dr .
