Included in the Proactive Preventive Policing Technique, the K-9 Unit from the Ghana Police Service, along with renewed energy, has started its outdoor operations.
Within the past couple of weeks, personnel with highly-trained security dogs under teather have been strategically positioned throughout the Capital for operational patrols, the Police Administration said within a statement on its social media marketing pages.
This component of policing is aimed at increasing the particular visibility of personnel, enhancing intelligence gathering, tracking associated with contraband goods and enhancing upon other aspects of felony investigations.
Plans are underway to extend this component of Law enforcement visibility to other regions.
