Nationwide Security Ministry investigating alone is a worthless venture – Ablakwa

Legislator for North Tongu Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has required an independent investigation into accusations of assault made towards National Security Operatives simply by Citi FM Journalist. Caleb Kudah narrating what happened in order to him at the National Protection Ministry when he had been arrested for taking videos plus photos at a “restricted area” said “They pushed me personally and I sat on the seat. They [National Security operatives] slapped me from the back again. I was trying to appeal to all of them that they had beaten me personally enough, but they were simply slapping me from the back again. I’ll be talking to another and someone will simply come and slap me personally from the back”. But the Nationwide Security Ministry in a declaration said they hold legal rights of individuals in high worth and also do not joke using its professionalism hence the need for the probe into the allegations produced. North Tongu lawmaker Okudzeto Ablakwa believes that it is only when an independent body investigates the allegations will people of Ghana believe in the end result of the investigation. Making their point known in a blog post shared on Facebook, Okudzeto said “An independent analysis into the alleged brutalities towards Caleb and the traumatic encounter Zoe was exposed to, not really National Security investigating by itself is the only process which will engender confidence and associated with general public trust the outcome as being a credible one.
