
The 78-year-old pastor of the Chapel of Pentecost has unintentionally shot himself to demise at Asamankese in the Far eastern region.
The 78-year-old outdated pastor known as Ayi Mantey mistakenly discharged his weapon while he was in your own home.
The son of the Pentecost pastor Samuel Martey described that the shocking incident occurred on Wednesday 28th 04 2021 at home.
He narrated that his father had been patrolling around the compound together with his registered gun to frighten away thieves.
While he or she was walking around, his feet hit an object which unintentionally discharged the gun in to his body through the underarm when he was dropping.
“After the rains, he or she took his gun plus was patrolling around. Yet while walking, he pulled an object on the ground and had been falling but inadvertently pushed on the trigger and the weapon went off hitting their armpit. I rushed your pet to the hospital but he or she died later”, Samuel described.
The Asamankese Divisional Law enforcement Commander A. C. G. Akwasi Kankam Boadu verified the incident about the heartbreaking death of the retired pastor.
“Our preliminary investigation shows that at about 4: thirty pm on Wednesday during his routine patrol about his house with his weapon to scare away robbers who have been disturbing him, he or she suddenly fell and regrettably pressed on the trigger from the gun which went away. So it is not suicide being being speculated in town”, the Police Commander revealed.
The particular retired Pentecost pastor died at the Asamankese Government Medical center and also investigations are underway.
