Best Poet and academic from the University of Ghana, Prof Kofi Anyidoho has been chosen a Fellow of the Regal Society of Edinburgh together with 119 others. Prof Anyidoho (born 25 July 1947) is a Ghanaian poet and educational who comes from a family custom of Ewe poets and oral performers.[ He is currently Teacher of Literature at the University of Ghana. He has obtained numerous awards for their poetry, including the Valco Account Literary Award, the Langston Hughes Prize, the BBC Arts and Africa Beautifully constructed wording Award, the Fania Kruger Fellowship for Poetry associated with Social Vision, Poet from the Year (Ghana), and the Ghana Book Award.
