Medeama SC striker, Prince Opoku Agyemang, says South African guidelines not allowing clubs to join up more than five foreign gamers is the reason his one-year mortgage deal was cut brief at Cape Town Town. The 28-year-old joined the South Africa side on an initial one-year loan deal back in October 2020, unfortunately he recalled by Medeama right after being frozen out of the part. He discloses they sacrificed him for a Zambian striker whose documents were not prepared at the time he signed for that club. “Cape Town city were 10th upon the South Africa league table, so that they were seeking to strengthen their attack and they emerged for me on loan in order to push them up on the particular league table, ” he told Kumasi FM. “When I went there, I was playing very well as I was carrying out with Medeama, but they had been having a striker from Zambia whose papers weren’t ready and that had been why they came for me personally. “Unfortunately, according to South Africa rules, every club has the right to use five international players. So , when the Zambian striker got ready, one of the foreigners needed to be sacrificed. “The club President is still following me at Medeama and everybody was sad when I was coming due to the fact I excelled in my 6 continuous games for them. ”Opoku Agyemang scored only one goal within seven league games for Cape Town City and contains scored four goals within six games for Medeama in the Ghana Premier Little league since his return.
