Metz captain, John Boye, thinks his side’s Ligue one matchday 34 home battle against Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) is going to be a tough test following a narrow 1-0 defeat within the first round fixture.
Metz have gone five online games without a win in all contests and will come up against title-chasing PSG tomorrow at the Stade Municipal Saint-Symphorien.
The Ghana defender says his teammates will need to stay focused and give their finest in order to get something out of the sport while speaking at a pre-match conference.
“We all know it is going to be a tough online game. PSG are a very good Euro team. We will have to do good. Everyone knows what Paris is definitely capable of. We will have to concentrate on the game and give completely.
“We remember the annoyance of the first leg (0-1 defeat in the last seconds from the match). It’s part of soccer, but I know my group is ready for this brand new meeting.
“As a chief, I talk to young gamers a lot. We know that we will be discussed if we have a good overall performance.
“This is what I insist upon with them. For that, we have to provide the maximum of ourselves this Sunday. ”
The 34-year-old continues to be instrumental for Metz this year, playing 31 games, assisting them place 9th at the Ligue 1 table.
