
Ghanaian broadcast Journalist Bernard Koku Avle has shared their opinion on Akuapem Poloo’s sentence.
Bernard Avle in the morning show averred that will Akuapem Poloo is a new offender and that the reasoning was too harsh.
Based on the seasoned Journalist, Akuapem Poloo deserved a lesser punishment because it will be hard for her to become away from her son for 3 months.
Bernard opined that will Akuapem Poloo had discovered her lesson and pointed out that the court should have already been considerate.
“I think the particular court’s judgement on Akuapem Poloo is a bit too severe. She is a first-time culprit and you can imagine how hard it will probably be for her son not to notice his mother for three weeks.
I think the court must have been a bit lenient along with her and given the girl a softer punishment, ” Bernard Avle stated.
It could be recalled that Akuapem Poloo, who is an actress plus a video vixen shared the nude picture with the girl son on social media in order to mark his 7th birthday celebration.
This picture sparked a good outrage on social media exactly where some netizens and superstars called on the authorities to cope with Akuapem Poloo.
A Child’s Right Activist, therefore sued the video vixen for revealing such an explicit picture plus putting her son within harm’s way.
Akuapem Poloo was later arrested plus was charged with the distribution of obscene materials, doing domestic violence which undermined the integrity of someone else and engaging in domestic assault which tarnishes the pride of another human being.
The particular actress pleaded guilty for all three charges when the girl was arraigned before a good Accra Circuit Court.
Upon Friday, 16th April 2021, the court presided simply by Her Honour Mrs Christiana Cann sentenced Akuapem Poloo to three months imprisonment.
