Taxi cab driver arrested whiles carrying suspected human bones

The taxi driver has been imprisoned in the Ayensuano district from the Eastern region of Ghana whiles transporting suspected human being parts.
The suspects, Awatey David Okra, 22, the driver and his accomplice, Amenuvor Nicholas, 20, were imprisoned by residents of Kwamekyere, a community in the Ayensuano Area upon a tip-off.
Based on the local police, the Unit Panel Chairman of Kwamekyere Electoral Area – Aware Isaac, accompanied by two others on a tip-off intercepted the Daewoo taxi cab with sign up number GE 5063-15 along with suspects – Awatey Brian Okra, 22, driver plus Amenuvor Nicholas, 20, upon April 7, 2021, around 10: 30 pm through Suhum direction towards Kwamekyere, a community in the District just for allegedly carrying human our bones.
They conducted a search within the taxi which revealed the black suitcase containing a few old bones suspected to become human bones.
The police imprisoned the suspects and on interrogation, they said that one Djoka of Niifio near Suhum sent them to deliver the particular suspected human bones to some fetish priest named Gagba of Kwamekyere village within the same district.
The potential foods led the Police to visit the particular shrine of the said Gagba but the fetish priest got escaped.
Upon further analysis at the shrine, the police noticed a newly buried container within the premises containing a vintage skull also suspected to become a human skull and a skillet stuffed with fetish regalia.
This particular incident is happening few days following the murder of a 10-year-old young man by the name Ishmael simply by two teenagers called Nicholas and Felix in Kasoa.
Together with this and other occurrences of killings for money traditions linked to fetish priests in recent years has created national concerns.
