College students of Tamale Film & Television Academy (TAFTA) chosen for 2021 Canon Growth Programme

Learners of Tamale Film & Television Academy (TAFTA) are selected to take part in the Cannon Development Programme for 2021. The Canon Development Program 2021 edition is an effort from Canon Middle Eastern. The initiative aims to raise students from some chosen media schools across The african continent and the Middle East a number of exclusive online workshops that have a focus on visual storytelling and preparing them to create a photography portfolio on a broad variety of topics relating to visual symbolism. Participating students will also be mentored by world-renowned industry expert photographers with an opportunity to take part in the Student Development Times programme of the 2021 AUSTRALIAN VISA Pour l’Image Photo Event. Ghana is taking part in this particular workshop for the first time with college students from Tamale Film & Television Academy (TAFTA) and also the National Film and Tv Institute (NAFTI) among others. Regarding 250 students will be chosen across Africa and the Center East for the Canon College student Development Programme, now in the fifth consecutive year. Through the 14th of April towards the 26th of May, individuals will be taken through a number of exclusive online workshops upon Photojournalism, storytelling, creating a solid portfolio as well as pitching to some client. Chosen participants is going to be partnered with a professional advisor and granted 2 classes of portfolio guidance plus preparation between July – August. The official Canon School Student Development Programme will be held at across four days through 1-4th September 2021 along with VISA Pour I’Image.
