Angel Carbonou, the president of the Nationwide Association of Graduate Educators (NAGRAT) has suggested that when Rastafarians in Ghana wish to carry dreadlocks in school, they have got the liberty to set up their very own schools in the country.
Addressing the press conference in Accra on Monday over the concern which has become a national issue Angel Carbonou said he or she does not understand why as in now the rastafarians don’t have their own schools.
“I do not even know why the particular Rastafarians don’t have their own universities, because they’ve been in this particular country [Ghana] for a very long time, ” Mr Angel Carbonou said.
“We expect that when you want to be in that school, a person obey the rules and rules. The rules and regulations of the institution are not chosen plus picked by individuals, they will become standard and needs to be obeyed by anyone who really wants to access the school, ” he or she added.
Mr Carbonou contended that the rules and regulations of mature high schools is significantly beyond haircut. He observed that there are people who are born window blind, death and some handicapped whom all have various institutions they attend.
“There are usually people who are born blind, you will find people who are born deaf, you can find people who are born handicapped, is the fact that not so? Good. Are there not really institutions for them? Are there not really institutions for all these people?
