Among the Rastafarian students who have been refused admission to Achimota College Oheneba Kweku Nkrabea reports along the line he informed his parents to cut their hair off so that can go to Achimota School yet his parents refused. Based on him, he has always believed Achimota School was a great school that accepted variety and therefore wanted to be generally there but that feeling appear to be diminishing with the current occurrences. “At a point I dropped hope. I really wanted to visit Achimota because I saw Achimota as a good school.. ”But at the moment he indicates that will with what is happening “I really feel depressed and disappointed. I believe they must continue and visit court so this matter is going to be solved”. The Achimota College has said that it will not bargain on school rules in order to admit Rastafarians into the college. Although the Ghana Education Services called on the school in order to admit the students, the particular Service in a meeting upon March 22, 2021 mentioned the directive was in order to calm waters and the thus they stand by the position used by the headmistress. NAGRAT however has backed the headmistress of Achimota School demonstrating that they cannot fathom why individuals expect the school to be deregulated indicating that the school will be topsy-turvy if every religion will be given the opportunity to be indicated on campuses.
